Initial contact was quick and very efficient. Arrived when promised to take measurements etc. Didnât ask any questions about my choice of materials or styles or designs just said he would email and ring through the price. I advised him the job was urgent and required in 3 days and he confirmed he could do it.
I had to ring and chase the price after 24hrs and was promised Iâd have it that night by email, it didnât arrive. I sent a text the next day, so 2 days after the initial visit, to chase the price again and got no reply. I sent the text again later and eventually had the price sent to me in a text at 1.45pm, the day before the job was required! I replied immediately asking if there was any compromise on price and received no reply. I tried to call but it went to voicemail, I left a message in the hope he would get the text or the voicemail and get back to me. He didnât. I sent the text again but heard nothing at all. The next day, so the day of the job, I still had no idea if he was coming or not, he said he could sit he job at 2pm so I waited to see if he arrived or not, he did not. I sent a text telling him a reply would of been nice, communication is appalling but thanks for nothing.
All his previous reviews are 5 star so I have no idea what went wrong with my little job. If he didnât WANT to do the job he could of told me he wasn't available or something. He could of said NO to the price compromise, at least I would of had a reply.
Bad customer service, poor communication, he let me down and I didnât even have time to arrange an alternative tradesmen because he left it till the last minute to give me the price.
